BAIA Business Association Italy America also opens in Los Angeles

After years of activity between Silicon Valley and San Francisco, BAIA Business Association Italy America also officially arrives in Los Angeles, with the aim of creating a new point of reference for entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives and Italian-American innovators on the West Coast.

Founded in the Bay Area, by three Italian professionals. Matteo Daste, Giorgio Ghersi and Michele Ursino BAIA was born as a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the connections between Italy and the United States in the business, innovation, technology and professional networking. A relational platform where the theme of events creates relevance and the network generates business. The distinctive value of BAIA is the transformation of simple contacts into real and productive relationships, going beyond the digital dynamics type LinkedIn. Over the years the association has become one of the most active realities of the Italian community in the United States, organizing events, panels, meetings with international speakers, networking moments and initiatives dedicated to the dialogue between the Italian and American entrepreneurial system.

The association brings together managers, entrepreneurs, professionals, startup founders, investors and members of the Italian community abroad, with a strong focus on innovation, professional growth and international connections.

In recent years BAIA has also collaborated with Italian consulates, cultural institutions, universities and European organizations, consolidating its presence especially in the technological ecosystem of the Bay Area. Recent initiatives include mentorship programs, events dedicated to women’s leadership, international networking and collaborations with the Italian Consulate General in San Francisco.

“The strength of BAIA lies in being able to remain faithful to its mission and integrity of a historical brand; we continue to innovate in content and formats to respond to global challenges. However, after twenty years, our mission still remains to be a safe ‘baia’ where you go to find contacts and information, and then to start again towards new business goals even stronger. ” Serena Perfect, Chairman of the Board BAIA.

But now BAIA also looks in Los Angeles, an increasingly central city for the Italian presence in the United States, not only in the entertainment world but also in the business, fashion, technology, design and innovation sectors.

“Los Angeles has also proved itself a city with a thousand interests and BAIA has found fertile ground, demonstrated by the numerous participation of the first event, to open this first chapter. Now the real job of organizing events with high profile speaker and networking quality, according to the expectations we all have. We are sure we can count on the support of the local community as well as the institutions themselves.

I also thank Alessandra Zago, secretary of the organization, Valentina Martelli for the decisive contribution they have made in organizing this event, and Mike Gatto for supporting us in spreading our message. A special thanks also goes to Chiara Bacigalupo and strong forte, who hosted us in their new headquarters in Melrose.” adds Nicola Serragiotto, delegate of the Los Angeles chapter, as well as treasurer of the organization.

The opening of BAIA in Los Angeles is a further sign of the growth of the Italian professional community on the American West Coast. An increasingly transversal community that combines technology, creativity, fashion, entrepreneurship and Italian culture in a city that continues to attract talent and international investments.

With the new chapter losangelino, BAIA now aims to create high-profile events, concrete networking opportunities and strategic connections between Italy and the United States, further strengthening the dialogue between the two economic and cultural realities.
