On Sunday, April 12, at the Davis Center, the preview of Settepani, the first Italian coffee to open inside the most iconic park in New York. A friendly evening designed to present the new space to the city through tastings and meetings.
Between 14 and 16, visitors, curious and community members poured into the new space, tasting some menu proposals and animated the opening of the room. The arrival of Settepani in Central Park also has a symbolic value, because bringing the real Italian coffee in the green lung of New York means to confront a different context than the bar on the road, a context made of walking, tourism and outdoor life.
For the team it is a significant step. “Being the first Italian coffee in Central Park is really an honor,” they emphasized during the event, and launches a message: the Italian presence in New York is still expanding, especially in the food ettore. And the preview of Sunday was a starting point. Indeed, we would say a first taste – in all senses – of what Settepani is building in New York.
