Export the model of free overseas prevention, turning it into a social ransom and awareness tool. With this goal Campus Salute lands in Florida on June 12th and 13th 2026, choosing West Coast University premises as a two-day headquarters entirely dedicated to free medical screening and health education.
This edition is the result of a strategic partnership signed with Doral Pro-Health, born with the ambition to consolidate over time and generate a concrete and lasting impact on the social fabric. A public health initiative also made possible thanks to the logistic and institutional support of West Coast University and Casa Italia Miami, a reality united by the common goal of serving the local community facilitating access to care.
The Health Campus boasts over 15 years of activity and a special consultative status with the ECOSOC (the United Nations Economic and Social Council), brings to the United States a proven and scalable model, able to network between institutions and territories.
“Prevention is, first of all, a great cultural revolution”, explains Pasquale Riccio, national president of Campus Salute. “Our goal is to bring people closer to awareness, teaching them to take care of their own body and psyche. Being in the main cities of the United States is a great pride, especially because our activity is based almost entirely on the work of volunteers, who are our true strength”.
A global vision that combines well-being with food sustainability. Not by chance, the Campus promotes the transition to the “planeterranea” diet – a concept launched by the founder and scientific manager of the project, Professor Annamaria Colao – who aims to decline the healthy principles of the Mediterranean model on a global scale, while enhancing the Made in Italy.
The heart of the event will be the health fair, where citizens will have access to a wide range of completely free clinical benefits. For the occasion, from Italy will arrive an official delegation led by President Riccio and composed of four historical volunteers and three specialist doctors:

Il 1° luglio Nave Vespucci lascerà Baltimora per New York City, la seconda e più importante tappa del Tour Mondiale Amerigo Vespucci – Campagna in Nord America 2026, dove il 4 luglio, giorno in cui ricorre l’anniversario dell’indipendenza americana, prenderà parte alla Sail4th250 l’evento più grande, organizzato nel porto di New York, che vedrà sfilare oltre 50 tall ships e più di quaranta unità navali in una delle più spettacolari parate marittime in tempo di pace (International Naval Review 250).
Nave Amerigo Vespucci è molto attesa sia dalla grande comunità italo-americana che abita New York e non solo sia dagli stessi americani proprio per il rapporto che storicamente lega il Vespucci – e l’Italia – agli Stati Uniti: la Nave Scuola della Marina Militare porta il nome di Amerigo Vespucci, il celebre navigatore ed esploratore fiorentino che per primo intuì che le terre scoperte da Cristoforo Colombo facevano parte di un Nuovo Mondo, continente che in suo onore fu chiamato America.
È poi diventato celebre l’incontro in mare tra Nave Vespucci e l’unità portaerei statunitense USS Independence nel 1962 in Mar Mediterraneo; il veliero ricevette il messaggio in lampi di luce: «Chi siete?», a cui rispose «Nave scuola Amerigo Vespucci, Marina Militare italiana», ottenendo in cambio: «Siete la nave più bella del mondo». Sessant’anni dopo, nel 2022, incrociando al largo la portaerei americana USS George H. W. Bush, il saluto via radio confermò quella fama: «Siete ancora, dopo 60 anni, la nave più bella del mondo».
A New York al termine della parata Nave Vespucci sarà ormeggiata al Pier 86 dove si trova l’Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum e sarà aperta al pubblico per le visite a bordo.
Per visitare Nave Amerigo Vespucci a Baltimora, New York e Boston non sono richieste prenotazioni, conformemente alle regole organizzative di Sail250, basterà presentarsi direttamente sul posto. L’accesso sarà consentito in base alla capacità massima della Nave e secondo le modalità organizzative previste per ciascun porto. Dopo le celebrazioni newyorkesi Nave Vespucci farà rotta verso Boston dove dall’11 al 16 luglio prenderà parte alla Sail Boston e poi proseguirà per il Canada dove sarà protagonista del Rendez‑vous naval de Québec, prestigioso raduno internazionale di navi ospitato dal porto di Québec City dal 23 al 26 luglio 2026 e a seguire dal 29 luglio al 3 agosto, prima di una nuova attraversata oceanica, farà tappa a Montreal.
Al suo rientro in Italia Nave Amerigo Vespucci farà sosta a Cagliari, a Taranto, a Venezia in occasione della XV edizione del Trans-Regional Seapower Symposium (T-RSS). L’ultima tappa sarà a Trieste, in occasione della Barcolana, la regata velica più partecipata del mondo con oltre 2000 imbarcazioni che si tiene ogni anno nel Golfo di Trieste (la 58ª edizione si svolgerà domenica 11 ottobre 2026) e dell’arrivo del Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Veloce, la regata più lunga del Mediterraneo, per la prima volta a Trieste.
